The HFSQL ODBC driver, explained
The HFSQL ODBC driver is the official way for tools outside WinDev to read HFSQL data. Fic2All relies on it, so here is what it does and what to check before you start.

What it is
ODBC is a standard way for software to talk to databases. PC SOFT, the publisher of HFSQL, provides an ODBC driver that exposes HFSQL data to any ODBC-capable application. It is published and supported by PC SOFT, not by Fic2All.
Why Fic2All uses it
Going through the official driver means Fic2All gets the tables and rows the way HFSQL itself exposes them, using the table structure from your project analysis.
What to check
Install the driver from the official PC SOFT site, on the machine where you run Fic2All.
Check that its architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) matches the application that uses it.
If the driver is missing, Fic2All says so clearly and points you to the download. The rest of your work is not affected.
Protected data files
For password-protected files, the password is supplied when the file is opened. Fic2All asks for it at that moment, keeps it only for the call and never writes it to disk.
