Software licence agreement

1. Agreement

This agreement is between you (an individual or one organisation) and Hamzacoding Inc (“we”), for the Fic2All software and its documentation (the “Software”). By installing, activating or using the Software you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use the Software and ask for a refund under the Refund policy.

2. Licence grant

Subject to payment and to this agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the Software on up to 3 computers at the same time, for your own purposes and for converting the data of your clients. The plan you bought defines the duration of use and the updates covered: Mission (30 days of use), Pro (12 months of use and updates), Perpetual (no expiry, updates of version 1 included).

3. Activation and licence checks

The Software needs a valid licence key. At activation, it sends the key, a one-way fingerprint of the computer, the computer name and the Software version to our server, and stores a signed licence token on your computer. It checks the token on every start and contacts our server again at least every 14 days. A refunded, revoked or expired licence stops working at the next check. No data from your HFSQL files or databases is ever sent.

4. Restrictions

You may not: sell, rent, lend, share or publish your key or the Software; use a key on more computers than allowed; bypass, disable or tamper with the licence check; remove copyright or trademark notices; or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that applicable law allows it despite this restriction.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Hamzacoding Inc and its licensors keep all rights, including copyright, in the Software. © 2026 Hamzacoding Inc. All rights reserved. The converted data remains yours: we claim no right over your data or over the databases produced.

6. Updates

Updates published within the period covered by your plan can be installed with the same key. A later version may require a new licence or a renewal, as shown on the pricing page.

7. Third-party components

The Software includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the Notices page and in the About screen of the Software. The HFSQL ODBC driver is a product of PC SOFT, is not included, and is governed by PC SOFT’s terms.

8. Your data and backups

The Software reads your source files without modifying them. You are responsible for keeping backups and for checking the converted data, with the verification report the Software provides.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or that every HFSQL file can be read.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, profit or business. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the licence concerned. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

This agreement ends automatically when your licence expires or is refunded, or if you breach it. You must then stop using the Software and may uninstall it.

12. Export compliance

You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws when using the Software.

13. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
